Full job description

The Student Services Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the student experience by providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires the individual to address student inquiries, manage student needs, and ensure a welcoming and supportive environment that facilitates the success of students at ES, an English language school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students, providing accurate information and assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Respond promptly to student inquiries through various channels, including in-person, email, and phone, ensuring all questions and concerns are addressed effectively.
  • Student Support:
  • Assist students with day-to-day needs, including registration, course changes, accommodation queries, and other administrative matters.
  • Provide guidance on school policies, procedures, and resources available to students, helping them navigate their academic journey.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, feedback, and any issues raised, ensuring data is handled with confidentiality.
  • Prepare reports on student services activities, including trends in inquiries and feedback, to help improve services and student satisfaction.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with academic staff, administrative teams, and other departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Act as a liaison between students and various departments, facilitating communication and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Address and resolve student complaints and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges students may face, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously seek feedback from students to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in student services and customer service.

Key Deliverables:

  • Monthly student satisfaction reports
  • Timely resolution of student inquiries and complaints
  • Positive feedback from students regarding the support provided

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, Communications, Hospitality, etc.).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or student support role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 – AED6,000.00 per month
